Turkey Burgers
Ingredients
3 pounds ground turkey
1/2 cup red onion minced
1 teaspoon garlic minced (1-2 cloves)
1/4 cup cilantro chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 egg
Prep
- Mince the onion & garlic
- Chop your cilantro
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Directions
1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.
2. Roll into balls about 2 inches wide then flatten out and place on your baking sheet. This should make 12 patties.
3. Place baking sheet in the refridgerator for 30 minutes.
On the Stove-Top
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook for 6 minutes per side or until each patty reaches an internal tempature of 165. Depending on the size of your pan only cook 2-3 patties at a time.
On the Grill
Heat to 350 and cook for 5 minutes per side or until each patty reaches an internal tempature of 165.
Prepare your burgers with your favorite toppings!
